We’re rolling to the Coshotcon County Fair this week

by on September 27, 2012

Our Home Energy Savings Tour will roll into Coshocton this weekend for the 161st county fair beginning Friday, September 28 continuing until Thursday, October 4. Since the Coshocton County Fair is one of the last in the state, the agricultural products on display are among the best in Ohio. Elaborate displays of pumpkins, corn, potatoes and apples fill the agricultural hall, while the livestock barns are filled with the pride of the county’s 4-H and FFA members.

The Home Energy Savings Tour was created to help customers learn more about saving money and energy at home.  The goal of this travelling exhibit is to deliver an interactive and engaging experience that helps consumers learn how they can stop wasting energy and start saving money through AEP Ohio’s energy efficiency programs.

New for 2012 is the Home Energy Savings Tour from AEP Ohio mobile display. This vehicle is a 2012 Winnebago, 38 feet in length. Powered by a highly efficient diesel engine, complete with a hybrid generator system, the vehicle features rooftop solar panels for supplemental power, LED lighting throughout the interior, a highly efficient heating/cooling system for year round use. Wherever possible, recycled materials were used in the construction of fixtures and flooring.
