Q. Why haven’t I seen crews in Jackson County?

For the Wellston area, that includes Jackson County, there are 10 crews working. There are 140 active outages. The greatest number of customers out due to the storm was 13,160 on Saturday, June 30. As of now, 10,867 customers remain out of service. Additional help will be moving toward the Wellston area as crews finish making repairs in other areas. The projection for service restoration for 90 percent of the customers affected by Friday’s storm is 11:59 p.m. on July 10.

    You guys are unbelievable! !!, we’ve been WITHOUT POWER for 5days, it’s like we live in a third world country! !!, your dates to get power back on is the 10th, sooo be sure to have it back on by then so you can be a hero, I haven’t seen any aep trucks where I live in Wellston, O wait I have seen them at fast food restaurant, I hear the guys are complaining about how hot it is, DRAG-UP!!!!!!

      Trisner, more than 4,000 men and women are working 16-hour days to restore power after this natural disaster. Crews working in these high temperatures are facing the threat of heat exhaustion.         Well what about us, do you think we enjoy setting outside because the house is to hot, spoiled food! !! Not only do I have to deal with the power I’ve got to deal with an insurance claim ,” the only thing you guys do fast is get tired fast”
